Abas@Fingertip

"Abas@Fingertip" is a personalized Bible study tool designed for the Chinese with Android devices. It facilitates browsing and searching the Scripture, recording notes, selecting and browsing personal golden verses.

Additionally, the personalized features include not only the personalized layout settings, and recording personal notes and golden verses, but also keeping track of the user's browsing history in order to retrieve such information during the user's revisit.

1. Scripture Browsing

~ The Scripture is loaded according to the specified book and chapter.

~ The last reading book and chapter will be recorded and such information will be retrieved when the user revisits the app.

~ User may use the arrow buttons to go to the next or the previous chapter.

~ User may select to show the English translation, book introduction, or Scripture commentary for a particular verse.

2. Fuzzy Search

~ In addition to exact match of keywords in the general search function, "Fuzzy Search" allows user to specify the degree (10% to 100%) of matching the keywords. This function facilitates a more flexible search.

~ The app provides several options on the scope of search.

~ User may select one of the two search modes: "Fuzzy Search" and "Multi-string Search".

~ The app will highlight all the matched words in red in the resulting Scripture.

~ User may also choose "My Notes" as one of the scope of search.

3. My Notes

~ User may write their notes or Scripture summary for each chapter of the Scripture.

~ User may annotate their favorite golden verses at the end of each entry of the notes and extracting those verses at "My Golden Verses".

4. My Golden Verses

~ User may annotate their favorite golden verses at "My Notes", and generate all the annotated verses for browsing.

5. Layout Settings

~ User may reset the screen layout of this tools. Such settings include the text size and color together with the background colors.
