Thriftalator - Shopping List

Built this shopping application on request. Met a guy named David at a dinner party hosted by a mutual friend. When I mentioned making Android phone apps, David said he was looking for one that he couldn't find on Google Play.

David is a single Dad that works a lot and lives on a tight budget. So he's always looking for sales, especially on the groceries he buys when his young son comes to stay with him. But he said that he often doesn't remember the prices of things, so he's not sure if the sale prices he sees are really bargains. David showed me a spreadsheet he was using, but he said that it would be better to have a phone app to organize his list.

OK David, here's your grocery list app. You can enter each item you see on sale into this app along with it's price and quantity as well as the name of the store you were shopping at. The app will calculate the unit price , put a time stamp on the entry and display the information in an alphabetical list. And you can download all the stored up sale price data to a .csv file if you want to transfer the information to a spreadsheet on another machine.
