Bible Genres

There are many genres of the Bible that we all know and love. However, we don't usually pay attention to them, we just read the scriptures... That is not how it was intended to be read. Authors of the Bible intended for us to be mindful while reading it, and to pay attention to the ornate detail in which it was written. Paying close attention to the genre of Scripture is just as important as reading the Scripture itself, as if you do not know how to read something there is not point in reading it at all.
