In ancient Mexico, the Aztecs, people of the sun, who flourished for a time, had a marvelous Stone Mask that they passed down.

It was a miraculous mask that could give a person the power to gain eternal life but disappeared from history.

In the late19th century, a time of radical changes in people's minds and lives. JoJo, met his rival, the vampire Dio.

They spent their teenage and grew up together, but the friendship was characterized by deceit.

When Dio is caught stealing his family's fortune, he chose to take on that stone mask and gained great power.

JoJo learned ripple by chance, and used it to fight against Dio.

They eventually died together, but Dio survived because of mask power.

As the two factions start on their own strange and bizarre destinies, a story that spans more than 100 years and eight generations begins...
