The Student branch of IEEE in the Northern India Engineering College,New Delhi began it's era under the name 'BOSON' in the year 2005.

HISTORY

The society was rejuvenated in February,2009 by the fruitful efforts of Dr.Yamini S. ,Principal,NIEC and Shobhit Aggarwal of ECE 2006-10 batch under the direction of Dr.Prerna Gaur,Chair,Student Activities Committee,IEEE Delhi Section. In september 2011, 'BOSON' being a misnomer was renamed to IEEE-NIEC.

SOCIETY

IEEE-NIEC envisions to enlighten the budding engineers. The society consists of a team of branch counsellors and inquisitive & dedicated student members from various branches of the college.
