CurbDoc is a HIPAA compliant and secure communication app, between hospitalists and healthcare Practitioners of any specialty, via speech to text and/or text with the capability of sending images securely as well. After a quick registration and vetting process, you are free to communicate with a Practitioner of your choosing by creating a patient encounter. Communication is entirely within the HIPAA compliant and secure app and is executed with a speech to text option or a text option. Speech to text creates mini audio snippets so Practitioners can hear each other speak about the case. Images from your phone's camera or camera roll can also be sent back and forth securely for the Practitioners to view. Once a patient encounter is deemed complete, the encounter is closed and generates a billing code dependent on the user's time spent on the case. PDFs of a billing face sheet and transcript of communication are automatically sent to the user's email address once the encounter is closed.
