Dyndy

The Dyndy application was created as an aid for practicing the vocabulary of foreign languages. More detailed information about the application can be found here: http://dyndy.8u.cz

*** VOCABULARY ***

The application does not include vocabulary to practice. It is necessary to create a vocabulary that will suit your needs.

*** READY Dictionaries ***

You can use several ready-made dictionaries, which you can find here:

Currently, only Japanese vocabulary dictionaries are available.

The application includes only sample vocabularies, which you can automatically import when you first start the application or later through the import screen (we select the bottom panel "Settings" and then in the top menu "Import"), where we use URL Import and set only the word SAMPLES as URL . The examples contain only a few Czech, English, German and Japanese expressions.

*** HOW THE APPLICATION WORKS ***

If you have, for example, a Czech-English vocabulary prepared in the application, when practicing it, the Czech word will be displayed and the English translation will remain hidden. After revealing the translation of the displayed word, you choose whether you translated the word correctly or incorrectly and a new word is displayed.

If you choose that you have translated the word wrong, it will be shown again after a few words. This word will be displayed to you until you answer it correctly several times in a row.

You can write 2 to 3 definitions for each term in the dictionary. In the application, it is then possible to set which of the definitions will be asked as a question and which will be displayed as an answer.

Three definitions for one expression can be used, for example, as follows:

English definition - German definition - Czech definition

Japanese definition written in hiragana - Japanese definition written in kanji - Czech definition
