Since the 1970s, various development approaches have been implemented to alleviate poverty in Sri Lanka and the Samurdhi Program, which was launched in 1995, has now become the most successful of all these programs.

The Samurdhi program operates within a strong organizational structure of Divisional Secretariats, District Secretariats and Departments consisting of a group of government officials closest to the people who are at the forefront of the work of empowering the low income people.

The purpose of creating this mobile application is to provide an understanding of the services and benefits provided by the Samurdhi program to the people who use communication technology as well as to facilitate the people who are involved in the Samurdhi program to download the documents required for daily use. It also allows you to download government laws, regulations, codes, publications and many other documents that are useful to all public officials.
