What is so different about this particular app?

This app has two game modes:

Regular mode: Play against your android device.

Remote mode: Game is played on two different Android devices that have text messaging capabilities. When the player makes a new guess, a message is send to an opponent. The message also includes the response to previous guess made by an opponent. To play against another Android device it is necessary to install «Logic Duel» application (which is free) on both devices. Search for it in Android Market or select «Play Remote» option from the «Bulls & Cows» menu.

Bulls and Cows -- also known as Cows and Bulls or Pigs and Bulls or Bulls and Cleots -- is an old code-breaking paper and pencil game for two players

You attempt to guess the number the Android device or your remote opponent has chosen. The response to your guess will tell you which digits in your guess are present in the secret number, and which one of them are in the right spot.

Bulls – number of digits present and in the right spot.

Cow – number of digits present but are NOT in the right spot.

Example:

Secret number: 4271

Guess: 1234

Answer: 1 bull and 2 cows.

(The bull is «2», the cows are «4» and «1».)

When playing against another Android device text messaging capabilities are used. «Bulls and Cows» does not charge for messages, but standard text messaging rates apply. Consult your wireless service provider for details regarding your individual wireless service and associated SMS charges.
