EvangelApp is a game for your phone or tablet which is especially designed for evangelists and evangelism. It gives the user a great way of breaking the ice with strangers, talking to young people and bringing up key Gospel issues in a fun yet thought-provoking way.

EvangelApp is a simple scrolling game, based on a popular concept, responding to taps on a touch screen to change the direction of the player in order to avoid the advancing barriers.

Instead of the usual obstacles, he/she must try to avoid the things that many people rely on to get them a place in heaven- things like religion, good works, money and philosophy. The player, shown as a heart with an animated cross within it, represents a lost soul following the course of the world. Each time he crashes into one of the stumbling blocks, a relevant scripture appears, focusing attention onto where the Bible shows the futility of this particular way.

While the superficial aim of the game is to dodge the obstacles, the evangelical aim is to highlight key Gospel ideas and to expose the player to numerous and relevant sections of scripture. It is an original, unique way to start conversations and to talk about Jesus, with the ultimate goal of leading them to a real relationship with Christ.
