Karla is one of the main vegetables in Bangladesh.
Land and soil description: Corla grows well in warm and humid weather. It is an environmentally tolerant plant. It can also be grown in fairly dry weather, but excessive rainfall is detrimental to it. Cannot tolerate waterlogging. Excessive rainfall can lead to pollination. So excluding two months of winter, karla can be grown at any time of the year in Bangladesh. During winter, the growth rate of the tree decreases. In order to get good yields, sunflowers should be cultivated all day and in areas where there is adequate irrigation. All types can be cultivated in the soil, but organic manure-rich do-and-sandy do-good soil grows well. Can be cultivated all year round. High beds can be cultivated in saline areas.
