Philosophy is a tool. As a tool, it not only functions to lead us to understand life, but also to discover the wisdom behind life itself. Wisdom is the pinnacle of philosophy. Wisdom will emerge if the actuality of theory as a philosophical entity and the reality of our behavior are combined: grounded and real.

For that, we should be grateful to the philosophers. Life feels meaningful thanks to their charity in the form of thinking tools, methods and approaches that they created and discovered that make our lives quality. Without philosophy, we don't expect to be able to know and explain who we really are.

However, this book will not only invite you to find out what techniques or tools Muslim philosophers use to do philosophy, but also show how they think and some of the epistemological information that is most useful and possible for us to understand as reader.

From Ibn Sina and Ibn Rushd who were peripetatic, Suhrawardi who was science-ionistic, Mulla Sadra who had transcendent theosophy, Ibn Arabi with wahdat al-wujûd, to Al-Kindi with al-falsafah al-ula, all of them aimed to know the nature of the reality of life by combining all sources of knowledge integratively: reason, intuition, and revelation.

Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
