Flock Messenger matches nearby devices and let them communicate over the cloud.

However, Flock Messenger does not use your private location information, so no need to turn on the GPS.

Flock Messenger uses nearby Wi-Fi information, triggered only at the time when you turn on the Messenger.

Whatever medium you use for the communication (cellular or Wi-Fi), you need to see at least one Wi-Fi AP.

**NOTE** Two or more devices should be located under similar Wi-Fi coverage (room-size) area to operate.

All devices that are recognized as being adjacent to you may receive your message.

To limit the recipient, you can encrypt your message using a passcode shared with the designated recipient.

You can name each message by tagging. Sharing contents such as image and link through other apps are available.
