Freesco Web App

This is an ONLINE application that delivers the content of www.freesco.info to your mobile, in an easier and quicker way than using the native browser. The intent of this app is to make it easy for the user to, access the information on the FREESCO web site, stay updated with new announcements & patches, or to download the current (or past versions) of the FREESCO Router OS.

Project Description :

FREESCO was developed in the open source tradition as an alternative to routing products offered by Cisco, 3-Com, Accend, Nortel etc. While all of these companies offer products that are well made, the overhead and overall costs can be expensive.

FREESCO is open source, stable, inexpensive, easy to use, extremely versatile and flexible ... and best of all, FREESCO is FREE.

Ok here are a couple situations ...

While working on your local FREESCO router, or out working on a clients server (that is not so local), this application could save you some time (if not a headache or two), by being able to access and then download the newest FREESCO version, or that patch that you missed earlier.

While out making the rounds to client locations, checking a system and wondering about the changes made to the latest version and if it now includes that wanted feature, go have a look. All of the websites information is right here, in a quick and easy application.

There are two apps in the works at this point

1) the FREESCOsoft.com site - access to FREESCO add-on packages and files

2) FREESCO control Panel - FREESCO Control Panel interaction application

Both applications are in the development stages, with a runnable FREESCOsoft application.

The FREESCO Control Panel application is only in the starting phase at this point.
