Fuvi

The duende is that being who, when he touches you, imbues you with a style so alive and authentic that it cannot be expressed in words. These little men are the ones who create the great masters of all the arts, and they live all over the world, wanting to find some human worthy of lending their power.

A long time ago, a goblin named Fuvi came to Fuente Vaqueros, and he had the feeling that there he would finally meet the person who would make him fulfill his dream.

One day, walking with his hands in his pockets, Fuvi heard that someone was practicing on the piano. He looked out of a window and saw a boy playing a simple but beautiful tune. Fuvi took off her cap of torpor. I had found it! He ran to him and hid in his bow tie.

Now Fuvi had a goblin-mission: to get that boy to ascend to the moon. From that moment, the town began to rumor that Federico García Lorca had something special, that he had a duende.

For years, Fuvi sweetened Federico's words and poured coal into his heart. Until August 19, 1936, the now universal poet died between steel and grass. Fuvi cried with the cap in her hands, and instead of looking for another worthy human, she returned to Fuente Vaqueros. For such had been the affection he had for his friend Federico, that he decided to honor his memory by lending his elf-power to the people.
