Walkway navigation allows users to walk on an optimized route for visually impaired, and traffic lights and voice guidance systems help users safely cross the road and enter the building.

👨🏻‍🤝‍👨🏻 Active Feedback from Visually Impaired

We interviewed over 400 visually impaired to design and implement this app, and conducted over 300 tests with visually impaired users to improve the service. This app also has been continuously tested by the usability testing specialist and visually impaired consultant.

📱 Optimal UI/UX

- Quick Search: Users can set the destination with the voice search and keep the place they go often in the bookmarks.

- Simple information: This app removed every unnecessary function and image which isn't helpful for the visually impaired, so users can quickly get only the information they want to know.

- Gesture Mode: Swipe the screen and find the way. This app provides 6 gestures to manipulate the app in addition to the usual touch-button way.

🧭 Location Information

- Tailored information:Users can check the information which is not provided in the usual map application such as starting direction point or entrance location.

- Surrounding Facilities: Users can easily find the surrounding facilities including restrooms, public transportations, cafes etc.

- Share location: Users can share their current location directly in the app.

🚦 Traffic lights and voice guidance services for safe walking

- Link with the sound signal : The signal light and the sound signal are linked to the app service to transmit the guided voice, and at the same time, it also tells you how much time is left on the app.

- Link with the voice inducer : The voice inducer attached to the building is linked to the app service to transmit a guided voice so that visually impaired can easily enter the building.
