GCAiN is an online portal bringing innovators and potential partners together. The portal

collates Africa based projects and ventures in health and development with a potential for scale up to find potential investors and collaborators. It provides a space for players in the innovation sphere to be kept abreast with developments in the sector along with opportunities for face to face meet ups.

GCAiN is a product by the African Academy of Sciences’ Grand Challenges Africa programme. GC Africa seeks to promote Africa-led scientific innovations to help countries better achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by awarding seed and full grants to the continent’s most impressive innovators. The African Academy of Sciences (AAS) is a non-aligned, non-political, not-for-profit pan African organisation whose vision is to see transformed lives on the African continent through science.
