Best DIY Glitter Mason Jar For Teacher's Day

Our crafty friends! Back to school is right around the corner so were trying to squeeze in as much fun as we can in these last two weeks. we have another back to school teacher gift idea to share with you! These glitter mason jar teacher gifts are really easy to make and are perfect for filling with school supplies like pens and pencils.

Supplies:

- Mason jar

- Glitter in lemon drop & garnet

- Americana multi-surface paint

- Beacon Glitter It

- Optional: stickers and green cardstock

Step one: pour glittering glue inside the jar and seal with lid Carefully swirl the glue around, try not to shake it so that you wont get air bubbles. You can read my glitter ornaments tutorial to see why I love this glue so much! Its as thin as water and has great coverage its a must-have for the holidays

Step two: pour glue back into glue bottle and add glitter inside the jar. Swirl to evenly coat jar. Allow glue to dry for at least an hour.

Step three: paint mason jar lid and add embellishments. For the pencil mason jar we used stickers letters and the number 2. we originally added Thickers (picture above) which looked great but didnt hold up well. So I went back to Michaels for flat alphabet stickers and these have held up really well. For the apple mason jar we used twine to hold paper leaves we hand cut.
