TheSensoryTracker

This application TheSensoryTracker is based on the a tool by Winnie Dunn, which is a well known tool used by professionals to assess and identify child's sensory processing patterns. The results can then be used to consider how these patterns might be contributing to or hindering performance in activities of daily life for these children.

The questions in TheSensoryTracker have been adapted from the tool by Winnie Dunn. The questions in TheSensoryTracker are for assessing the sensory capabilities of children with age 3 to 10 years.

This new application helps in capturing the answers to caregiver questions on a mobile device and generating the summary tables with scores for the factors and the sections in an automated manner.

Generating score tables in an automatic way gives a great productivity boost for the professional therapists. This saves them a lot of time and effort required to complete the analysis after answers to the assessment questions are captured.

Both section raw scores and factor raw scores are generated in tabular form.

Detailed assessment logs are also generated for ready reference of answers to all the questions.

All the tables can be emailed to self or the caregiver.

This can be used for assessment of multiple children at the same time.

All the data related to the answers to the caregiver questions is stored on the mobile device of the professional carrying out the assessment and no data is transmitted out of the mobile device unless done explicitly through specific actions. Any data sharing has to be done by the professional doing the assessment and should be done so after a consent from the caregiver of the concerned child. The developers of this application take no responsibility for the privacy of data generated out of use of this application.

The caregivers should discuss the results of the assessment with a professional before taking any further action based on the results. The professional administering the test is only responsible for suggesting any line of treatment based on the results of the test and the developers of the application are in no way responsible for any treatment suggested based on the results of the tool.

Currently Android devices with version 5.0 or more are supported for this application.
