Road Construction Department owned roads are being maintained under new contracting system called OPRMC. Under this system, the contractors have been assigned the responsibility of maintaining roads to a defined service level for 5 years. The response time for correcting defects have also been fixed. The list of roads being maintained under this system have been displayed at important locations of the district.
