  • Panel reading now puts each panel in the middle of the screen, even one at the edge of the page. To keep the old view, turn off "Center each panel" in Settings → Panels.
  • Any page can be a comic's cover: in the reader, open Layout and pick the page you are on under Cover. The menu in the comic's details switches back to the first page, which also replaces a cover that came from a server.

Great news: ComicDrive 3.0 reads panel by panel! Tap "Panels" in the reader's bar and the view glides from panel to panel, zoomed right in.
  • Tap the page edges to move between panels, swipe to turn the page.
  • Panels are found on your device, nothing is uploaded.
  • Pace, zoom and dimming: Settings → Panels.
  • Settings now open straight from the reader's top bar.

  • Plain .zip and .rar files now open as comics, no renaming to .cbz or .cbr needed.
  • Slideshow: Pause no longer ends it, and the same button resumes it. Leaving the app or rotating the device now pauses it too.
  • New option in Settings → Controls: a slideshow button in the reader bar starts a slideshow in one tap.

  • Cut margins stays on and no longer crops into drawings.
  • Layout sheet: one row per option, showing its value; screen orientation is also in Settings now.
  • Slideshow: now in the Layout sheet, pauses while a sheet is open, plays right-to-left comics forward and turns whole spreads.
  • Cleaner grids: no ⋮ on covers; long-press a cover for its options.
  • Tips & gestures: a new Settings page lists the hidden gestures.

ComicDrive has a new look: large parts of the interface have been reworked, from the start screen and the library to a comic's own page and the reader's panels. We hope you like it.

  • Sharper covers: covers are now stored at a much higher resolution and decoded at the size your screen actually uses, so the library, series and folder views stay crisp on tablets and large displays.
  • Old low-resolution covers are replaced automatically: local sources on the next scan, cloud and network comics when you open them, without extra downloads.

  • Folders inside a source now show the covers of the comics they contain instead of a folder icon. Covers appear as soon as they exist, so cloud folders fill in while you read.
  • Sort an OPDS catalog by Recently Added to find the newest issues, alongside Title and Author.
  • Smoother scrolling in the library and folder views, and fewer repeated page loads while reading.
