The ISLV Bible App is a free mobile app to enable the deaf community access the Indian Sign Language Bible Videos that are hosted on the ISLV YouTube Channel. Also available through the App are Open Bible Stories.

Bridge Connectivity Solutions software team has developed this platform inspired by similar initiatives in other countries for marginalized communities.

Features

This simple app leads to two panes – the Bible Pane and the Open Bible Stories Pane.

Bible Pane

- The pane allows access to books of the Bible categorized by Old Testament and New Testament.

- Each book has associated chapters. Only those books and chapters that have ISLV content will be displayed as active and clickable.

- User can share the video link with description.

- User can see the description by clicking the text icon.

Open Bible Stories (OBS) Pane

- The pane lists story titles, which users can select to view the stories.

- User can share the video link with description.

- Users can see the description by clicking the toggle button.
