Help Me Communicate

This App was created to assist English speaking persons that can touch a screen and are having trouble communicating during a hospital stay or while recovering. The buttons represent common request for someone staying at a hospital or bed bound recovering. Expressions represented by words and pictures are spoken out loud in English by the device when a bottom is touched.

Turn up the volume of the device so that it can be heard.

Examples of illnesses where this App might be used under the guidance of a professional are: apraxia, dysarthria, stroke, oral cancer, laryngeal cancer, Huntington’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease), brain injury, muscle weakness, respiratory weakness, or vocal cord paralysis.
