Kazam was created to be a shipping and courier service using everyday travelers, whether it be the local commuter to work , service or sales personnel traveling from one community to the next, or a college student on his or her way home for a weekend. Whatever it may be, chances are there is someone trying to get something from your departure destination to your arrival destination or somewhere in between.

There are usually many options when it comes to shipping/courier services, but one of the biggest problems is cost. With the Kazam App, the delivery driver and the shipper are able to negotiate a fair price for getting that Item delivered. The goal at Kazam is to offer affordable shipping, yet retain the ability to make this App feasible. Kazam retains 15% of negotiated fees for their services and cover operating costs. Getting Started: First, sign up for an account, read through the terms and agreements, and be approved. Once approved, you have the ability to use the Kazam App. To sign up for an account you must provide the following information name, phone number, address and vehicle type. For accounting and security purposes, a valid Driver’s License Number and picture, picture of vehicle, bank details and valid credit card are required. Kazam is linked directly with Braintree so that banking and credit card information is encrypted and sent directly Braintree; therefore, Kazam does not have access to credit card numbers or bank account numbers. Once your account is approved, you have the ability to use the App as a shipping/courier tool or as a way to make extra money by delivering. The Kazam App has the ability to send 'push' notifications so if someone is requesting a delivery departure within 30 miles of your location, it will send you a notification. Once you receive the notification, you can review the request specifications: size, weight, height, description of product, and either accept or decline request. If you are using the App to send an item, you must click on the 'Make Request Icon', fill out the sending from location to the sending to location, product description along with vehicle type (car, truck, Suv etc..), height, weight and length. The App will automatically put in an estimated price. Again, this price is negotiable, so change if so needed. Once you have an accepted offer, the delivery driver will alert you when he has started delivery. Once the delivery driver has arrived at the drop- -off-destination, he/she will complete the delivery through the App. The person receiving the delivery will also have to complete shipment on his/her App to complete shipment. After both parties have completed shipment, the negotiated payment will automatically be transferred to the driver's account from the sender's account, less the Kazam fee. Kazam will also have standby drivers available. A standby driver is someone who is willing to make a “round trip” for you if no one else is available.
