About Me

I am married with 2 children (in photo) that go to the local High School; we live in the Standish area of Wigan. Since 2002 I have cared for children, working for 4 years as a Preschool Assistant and then in 2006 becoming an Ofsted Registered Childminder.

In my many years of experience in working with children, i have learned to understand that every child is different, unique and special in their own way.

At Little Angels Childminding Service we do lots of activities both indoor and outdoor. We visit local Parent and Toddler Groups, Childminders Dropin Sessions at Surestarts Children Centres, Haigh Hall Park, Martin Mere Wetland Centre, Tots Time Play Centres, Worden Park and lots more. We are always out and about.

My qualifications are

NVQ Early Years Care and Education Level 3.

Introduction to Childcare Practice (home-based) part of CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare.

Paediatric First Aid.

Safeguarding Children (Awareness of Child Protection).

Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.

I also attend local courses that I feel the children will benefit from.

I am a member of NCMA (National Childmindinf Association).

My Husband and I are both Enhanced CRB checked.
