Locked Airplane Mode

This app needs ROOT.

Whenever you turn off your screen, this app activates the airplane mode. When you turn the screen on again, airplane mode gets deactivated.

Also it deactivates airplane mode every 6 a.m., 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. for a few seconds.

This is very useful for people who do not want to get disturbed all the time by their smartphone. Nice side-effect is a hilarious amount of battery you save and the health benefit due to missing radiation on your body.

"Locked Airplane Mode" (lapm) does not use any wakelock whatsoever, so its designed to be very easy on the system. It requires no /system install. Only requirements are root and an icon in the status bar, because otherwise android kills the app after 15 minutes, there is no other way.

ATTENTION: Huawei force closes apps when you lock the screen. Disable this function in

Settings -> Battery -> App launch

There you can manage the apps that you do not want Huawei to close. Please activate lapm there.

This app has been developed in Tasker. It wasnt really a big project so it will be openly available at some time.

The only root commands used are "settings put global airplane_mode_ on 0/1" to set the airplane mode and "am broadcast -a android.intent.action.AIRPLANE_MODE" to communicate to notify the system that there has been some change.

TODO: Add an option to enable/disable vibration. It's nice to feel the mechanics of the app but disabling it would most likely save even more battery.
