SHE +

Sexual Health Education Plus (SHE+) is an improved verse of “SHE” platform. With the additional features, SHE+ provides more opportunities to young people in the Northern and Volta Regions of Ghana to access private and convenient Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights information and services through a direct interaction with health professionals.

To access SHE+ dial 0233778855 to interact with a health professional in the Northern region or 0233778889for those in the Volta Region who will want to interact with a health professional between the hours of 12pm-6pm each day for professional SRHR health information and assistance.

Both the SHE and SHE+ platforms are designed to educate and provide information to young people, both male and female on their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) using the mobile phone.

These projects are part of Savana Signatures’ innovative use of ICT tools to promote and provide Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights information to young people in the Northern and Volta regions of Ghana.

The overall object of this innovative use of ICT is to contribute to efforts gear towards achieving the MDG5 (Target 5.B – Achieve, by 2015, universal access to reproductive health.)

The SHE and SHE+ projects are supported by TEXT TO CHANGE (TTC)
