Islam is a heavenly religion whose followers believe in the oneness of God

Islam A heavenly religion whose followers believe in the oneness of God and the Last Day, and its main source is the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet

Islam is the religion of Abraham, heavenly and monotheistic, there is only one God in Islam and that is God, [3] and Muhammad is the Messenger of God. [4] [5] Islam is the second largest religion in the world, [6] with about 1.9 billion followers or about 24.8% of the world’s population according to the 2020 forecast, [2] [7] [8] and they are known as Muslims. [9] Muslims constitute the majority of the population in 49 countries. [10] Islam teaches that God is merciful, has power, and is one, [11] and has guided humanity with prophets, messengers, books and holy verses. [12] The primary texts of Islam are the Qur'an - which Muslims regard as the literal, infallible word of God - and the Normative Teachings and Examples (Sunnah), which include the hadiths of Muhammad.

Muslims believe that Islam is the complete and comprehensive version of the faith that was revealed many times by prophets including Adam, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. [13] [14] [15] Muslims consider the Holy Qur’an to be the ultimate and final revelation from God. [16] Like other Abrahamic religions, Islam also has a final judgment in which the righteous are granted heaven and the wicked are hell. [17][18] Religious concepts and practices include the Five Pillars of Islam, namely, mandatory worship, and following Islamic law, which touch on nearly every aspect of life and society, from banking to women, morals and the environment. [19] [20] Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem are home to the three holiest sites in Islam. [21]

Islamic law is the set of laws imposed by the Qur’an, the hadiths of the Prophet, the hadiths of the righteous predecessors - or the Ahl al-Bayt according to Shiites - and the jurisprudence of Islamic scholars, which defines the human relationship. With God, people, society and the universe. It defines what can be done and what cannot be done.
