Built for the International Colonial Exhibition of 1931, the Palais de la Porte Dorée is an exceptional Art Deco ensemble classified as a historical monument. Loaded with symbols, it was first intended to celebrate the glory of the French colonial model. It now houses the National Museum of Immigration History and the Tropical Aquarium.
