Pancha Puranam

Panniru Thirumurai (பன்னிருதிருமுறைகள்) are the songs of Tamil Saivism projecting the glory of Lord Shiva. Out of this Panniru Thirumurai songs, five sacred books are glorified as Panchapuranam. They are 1. Thevaram, 2. Thiruvaachakam, 3. Thiruvisaippa, 4.Thiruppallandu, and 5. Periyapuranam.(தேவாரம், திருவாசகம், திருவிசைப்பா, திருப்பல்லாண்டு, பெரியபுராணம்)

It is believed that if we sing songs from Pancha Puranam (the above five books) all our problems would fly away like cotton.
