Panta Hilsa

The hotel owners tried to attract tiredness in the newspapers by giving a great advertisement and color-leafing leaflets. Some businessmen, who have nothing to say about social responsibility, have started practicing Panta-Hilsa in the New Year for the last few years in hopes of huge profits. But this tradition has never been before.

Culture conscious people, there is no relation to Hilsa with the traditional culture of celebrating Bengali New Year. Eating Panta-Hilsa in the first Baishak is nothing but the 'Hujugi' activity of the law.

For the past few years, Pantha-Hilsa was launched in Bangla, but since last year people have been vocal against this system.
