People for Portsmouth

People for Portsmouth is a Political Action Committee formed by a diverse group of residents in Portsmouth, Virginia to endorse and help support candidates for local elections who prioritize fiscal soundness, economic development, long term planning, higher quality of life, and public education which brings residents to Portsmouth. We are homeowners, renters, blue collar, white collar, retired, community activists, as well as the newly initiated to the political scene. We are democrats, republicans, libertarians; we have no political affiliation. Some of us go to church and some don’t. Some have children in public school or private schools and some homeschool. We welcome ALL Portsmouth residents from ALL neighborhoods who are concerned about the leadership of our city. We are YOU! We are FOR you! We are the People for Portsmouth!
