Sri Balatripurasundarisametha Narmadeswara Swamy’s Temple.
Sri Balatripurasundarisametha Narmadeswara Swamy’s Temple is one of the oldest temples in the holy town of Pithikapuram. The idol of the presiding deity was brought from the holy city of Varanasi in 1927 by His Holiness Sri Vigneswara Swamy and was originally placed in His ashram. The deity was installed in the present temple in 1950s. The temple which also had the idols of Radha & Madhava, continued to offer various sevas to the deities. However, the condition of the temple slowly deteriorated with the ravages of time and the roof caved in a few years ago making it impossible to continue to offer prayers at the temple.
