The NBP Calculator is a powerful calculator designed as an app for the B2G, a portable braille computer for the blind developed by National Braille Press. The NBP Calculator has a number of functions that can be selected for trigonometry,log, log10, complex and imaginary numbers, There is an input line to enter expressions that can be edited, with storage and recall capabilities.The standard layout includes a keypad with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and scientific notation. The Alternate button changes the face of the layout for sin, cos, tan,rd2dg,abs, asin, acos, atan, dg2rd,arg, sinh, cosh,tanh sqrt,cnj. log10, log, exp, pi and i.

What's new in the latest 1.3.172

This latest version adds many visual and navigational improvements to the NBP Calculator for both sighted and blind users on mobile platforms. We have added Engineering notation as a choice with Scientific Notation, and the results are shown even as you continue to type an expression. History has been added for the formulas that you are working on, but permanent history is not added yet. These improvements make this a very accessible calculator for the blind and visually impaired.
