With PowerCar you no longer have to take your vehicle to the power bank to measure engine performance. Using new technologies and information from the car's own electronics*, this tool allows for more complete, faster and cheaper on-road evaluations (launched).

At PowerCar we are experts in the energy expenditure of vehicles, we accurately obtain all the powers that the vehicle develops in the test (kinematics, aerodynamics, gradient and rolling), to generate and evaluate the graphs of power, torque, efficiency** and other important aspects of the engine.

In order to work correctly, wifi or BT OBD connectors that support multiple PID communication are needed. The APP itself will provide information on the validity of said connector. On the Powercar website powercar.phivehicle.com you can find examples of these OBD connectors.

*Available only for vehicles with CAN-BUS (approximately 2007 onwards). Check using the free version (PowerCar lite) that your car and OBD connector are suitable.

*Powercar has been developed by the Phivehicle team. The experience of our professional engine performance measurement kit is therefore very present in this app. Despite this, there are considerable limitations:

• The vehicles to be evaluated must have a CAN BUS (approximately 2007 onwards).

• The quality and speed of the information received will depend on the characteristics of the smartphone and OBD connector used.

• In the PRO version you will have access on your smartphone to graphs of power, torque, efficiency, etc., conveniently evaluated (the web platform for reports and comparisons is currently available for the professional KIT).

• You can evaluate a total of 5 vehicles.

• The slope power of the road can only be evaluated in

smartphones with certain sensor characteristics. For the rest, the throws must be made in "flat mode" as described in the manual (the APP will give this indication if necessary).
