Rádio Educativa FM was founded on May 7, 1988 under the name ‘FM Municipal de Piracicaba’. It is the Educational Technologies Service of the Municipal Department of Education of the City of Piracicaba- SP- Brazil. Tuned to the 105.9 MHz frequency, Educativa FM broadcasts on FM to the cities in the metropolitan region of Piracicaba, where around one and a half million inhabitants live.
