Rainbow Kitob

With a growing number of younger parents using their phones to provide their children with learning experiences, there is a critical need for more meaningful and age-appropriate mobile reading content for children that can be accessed by everyone. "Rainbow Kitob" offline interactive mobile application can be used anywhere once downloaded into the mobile phone or tablets.

15 children story book for preschool and elementary pupils (5-12 years old) were digitalized and made available free of charge in a form of a mobile application. "Rainbow Kitob" mobile application includes games, quizzes and interactive animations that translate storybooks, which are primarily visual, into interactive reading experiences, rich with text, audio, video, and hands-on-learning opportunities to engage all kids with the reading material in whichever way is best suited to their learning strengths.

The purpose of the application is to:

1. develop children’s motivation towards reading by making the reading process engaging and

interesting through digitized educational books with interactive games, tests, and challenges;

2. enhance children’s language skills in English and Tajik by incorporating both languages into the

application with equal distribution of material;

3. increase the level of children education by providing the platform for thinking and reasoning

development.
