Big Hero 6, Hiro or Baymax is a robotics prodigy, joins hands with Baymax in order to avenge his brother's death. They then team up with Hiro's friends to form a team of high-tech heroes.

He was originally a bodyguard built by Hiro himself, as Hiro didn't have a brother. In the movie, Baymax is so adorable and huggable because he needs to appear approachable. A healthcare companion takes care of people and cannot look threatening.

Baymax is an artificial synthformer capable of synthtransing his body into various forms: a large humanoid male, "Battle-Dragon" and "Action-Mecha".

After Tadashi died, Baymax diagnosed his younger brother Hiro as suffering from grief and depression. So, he's made it his mission to help Hiro heal – even if that involves accidentally becoming a superhero. Hiro is a young 14-year old boy. According to official sources, he is 5'0" (152 cm) in height and rather slender.

According to Japanese media, Tadashi was said to be 21 years old.

Baymax the Big Hero 6 is programmed to speak primarily English, but it has been shown that his language settings can be changed and can talk in several other languages.
