Birbal's Justice

Ram has lent money to his friend Sham who refuses to acknowledge the debt and pay him back. Ram does not have any documents to prove this loan to Sham as it was based on trust. Ram goes to King Akbar's court for justice. Akbar turns to his wise advisor Birbal for a solution to this problem. As usual Birbal gets justice done in his inimitable style.

Akbar and Birbal Stories :

King Akbar ruled as the Mughal emperor between 1542 -1605. He was the third Mughal emperor to rule India. He was known as Akbar the great for his contributions to art architecture and music. He used to keep learned and intelligent people as his advisors. These were called his Navrtans (Nine Jewels). Birbal (Mahesh Das) was one among them. He helped Akbar in military and administrative affairs. But he was well known and appreciated for his wit and wisdom.
