As a Public sector institute it is markedly different from others because it is fully autonomous and self governing.This enables it to respond quickly to all new developments in the world of academia and meet the requirments of employers.

TIT Opertes with a view of foster growth in students , know how and technical skills and enable them to remain competitive in a tide labour market.We have been successfull in achiving this,and overtime we have expend our functions.

Today TIT Offers Three years D.A.E Programe for Civil and Electrical Technologies.FSC Pre-Medical , Pre-Engineering And Computer Science and others short courses.These are similarly tied knowledge basesthat help create synergy and foster the cross fertilization of knowledge.

The current position of TIT as forerunner in education provision has come about as a unique case of self sustained development.This was made possible by a dedicated staff that had the creativity to grow beyound the narrow confines of state provided education.

Most of the institutes in khyber pakhtun khwa have been in stasis for decade now, but TIT has been one of the few examples of success full growth in academia , one that has become a benchmark of quality of others.
