Saras Fair Bihar

Saras Mela (Fair ) is an initiative to acquaint the people with culture, art, and craft of different states of India. It has now become a festival that is celebrated by different states across India. The fair gives a direct platform to Rural Artisans while acquainting the general public to rural products. Ministry of Rural Development conceptualized this platform and Sale of Articles of Rural Artisans Society (SARAS) was established.

The Regional Saras Mela in Bihar is being conducted by Jeevika (BRLPS-Govt. of Bihar). To enhance the experience of people visiting Saras Fair, Jeevika has developed the application for Android.
