K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) was established in 1981 as a part of Somaiya Vidyavihar with the objective of providing state of the art education in management and allied areas. The institute is consistently ranked among top 25 management institutes and top 10 private sector B-schools in India. In GHRDC CSR B-School Survey 2016, the Institute has been ranked as 1st amongst the Top Leading Pvt. B-Schools of Super Excellence and 2nd amongst the Pvt. B-Schools in the state of Maharashtra.
