SurfBud is an application written for anybody looking to go surfing in Ireland.

Deciding to go for a surf is normally followed by a few questions:

1) How far am I willing to travel for a surf?

2) Where's the best surf happening right now within that distance?

and possibly..

3) How do I get there?

SurfBud answers of all of these questions for you.

When opened, it immediately figures out where you and lets you know where your closest surf spot is and what the conditions are like there.

It then looks at all the surrounding surf spots, compares the conditions at each of them, and recommends the place that has the best conditions right now.

If doing the leg work of trawling through the forecasts for you and telling you where the best place to go wasn't enough, it'll then give you real time driving directions to that spot. If you're not from that area or visiting Ireland this can be a great help.

Getting some free time to go for a surf can be difficult, but when you do get the time you want to maximize the fun and make sure you're in the best spot possible. Take the guess work out of figuring out where to go and let SurfBud do it for you.
