Swap - Books Exchange & Marketplace

Swap is an online exchange to list classifieds ads for products and books. It brings the aspect of selling, barter trade, bid auction and exchange of books.

Users will access swap platforms using the app installed in the smartphone and on the web using the address https://swap.ke.

For a user to post the ad he has to create a book or product. Book exchanges don’t have any price value and the assumption is that if I am exchanging book A with book B, then the two books are of the same value.

On the other hand, a product has monetary value. Express sale is where – the other party get interested in the product, views the product and decides to buy. Barter trade is where the user posts an item and exchanges it with another item with one party topping the difference if the value is not the same. Bid auction, on the other hand, is where one party places a product on auction and the other users place bids, the winner goes with the item.

The swap platform is set to provide the best experience ever based on the users' location. Users should be able to search the items that are approximate to his/her location.

This enables convenience and lowers the cost of exchange in terms of transport between the parties.

Post a book

After the book is published other users who want the book published exchange can find it by what they have, that is the option the book owner has added.

The parties can chat online or send a call, if they agree the book exchange is complete, then the advertiser should mark it as closed. This works best for coursework books, Novels and reference books.

Post a product.

The process to post a product is similar to the book exchange above. With few tweaks on the bid and barter trade.
