This Girls Perspective

I’m not particularly crazy about completing an “about me” section. This is probably because I never know if I should go full Match.com or LinkedIn. Plus I like situational examples. They tell you more about who I am. With that said here we go. The type of dates I enjoy the most consist of conversations where we can discuss the timeless writings of James Baldwin, the lyrical genius of Nas and a shared passion for social justice. Or we could do very little and just enjoy each other’s company. Like, chill in a park while he reads his book and I read mine. Maybe we would share a little commentary if something particularly dope sparks us, but for the most part just chilling is fine.

The topics I write about are an expression of who I am. A spiritual formally educated Black woman, a single mom, and an advocate for social justice, who loves to inspire and empower.
