It includes 2,500+ Movies VCDs and DVDs (out of total 3400 Kannada Movies), 6,000 Audio titles (Film Music, Light Music, Folk Music,Drama, Lecture,Comedy,etc), 11,000+ books, 60 varities of Tee Shirts, Kannada Clocks and Watches, 100+ varieties of greeting cards, Kannada Calendars, etc. Kannada movies VCDs, DVDs, Audio CDs, MP3s, Songs, Films / Movies, Kannada albums, Books, eBooks,Audio Books, Raajyothsava Items (Shalya, Flags, Badges,Buntings,Decoration Items). You name it. We have it. Everything under one roof. No where on this earth you will find such collection all under one roof.

Objective / Mission

To preserve, progress and promote Kannada language, culture, literature, heritage amongst the present and future generations of Kannada speaking population living in India and outside India through selling Kannada books, music and movies, etc.

Background / Reason to start Total Kannada Store

Situation of our mother tongue language Kannada today is deteriorating today because of various reasons. This has resulted in slow death of our culture, our traditions, and our literature in our homeland Karnataka, India. Since our Kannada language is one of the fastest diminishing language of in south East Asia, we are trying to retain the glory of our language by promoting Kannada books, movies and music and thus save our language and keep our language alive.

About Myself

I grew up in Jayanagar, Bangalore and when I used to visit music shops, Kannada CDs were always in back shelves and was not given much importance.And when I moved to USA in 1998, I started observing non-availability of Kannada CDs at music shops and grocery shops. At this point I decided to start the website http://www.totalkannada.com to bring awareness about Kannada movies, culture and Karnataka, through articles written by me and other writers. Then I started selling Kannada CDs online. In 2006, I started Total Kannada store at Jayanagara 4thBlock, Bengalooru.

Apart from our stores, we have “Sanchaari Store” too. Our van carrying important Kannada movies, books and music can be seen at prominent places in Bangalore daily.
