Chinese Simplified

Chinese Simplified is a reference resource for learners of simplified Mandarin Chinese. It helps learners to easily remember Chinese using character etymology and mnemonics.

This is not a dictionary, and is not a tutorial. What it is, is a tool that replaces the usual rote learning of Chinese characters with logic and understanding. It should ideally be used alongside any Chinese textbook, tutorial program or course.

free vs full version

The free version should meet the needs of the new learner through their first few weeks of study. This version contains all the characters included in the HSK 3.0 level 1 simplified Chinese specification (300 characters).

The full version aims to include all commonly used Chinese characters. It currently contains more than 1300 characters. Users are only required to pay once for the upgrade. The upgrade is valid for life with no further charges as additional characters are added.
