EyeForColor

EyeforColour is an app that detects the Status of Router/Sensor status lights & show sit it on the screen. This is expected to be useful for vision impaired users to understand of status of devices when conveyed with lights.

EyeforColour is available on Playstore currently and very soon it will be available on app store for iOS users. It is verified to work with Google Talkback which is the in-build Android screen-reader.

Eyeforcolour is very easy to install and use. The app uses device camera and it would request permission to access the camera during the installation.

On launching the app, a screen similar to device camera with a ‘Capture Button’ opens up.

The phone should be placed a finger length away from the lights to be checked & click the 'Capture' button. The color of the light is shown on the screen. For assistive technology users, this will be read out.

Please Note:

• Till end of January, app is available free on Playstore. Next version will be charged as one-time cost.

• Subsequent versions will provide more features such as creating profiles, alerts which is handy feature for people who have trouble confirming status based on the lights.
