Backgammon

Backgammon (Persian:تخته نرد , Turkish: tavla , Greek: Tavli, Chinese: shuanglu) is an ancient Persian Board Game. Excavations at Shahr-e Sukhteh (Persian شهر سوخته, literally "The Burnt City") in Iran have shown that a board race game existed there around 3000 BC.
