NG Symposium

The Explorers Symposium is an annual invitation-only event that convenes National Geographic Explorers from around the globe to participate in a two-day symposium that brings the excitement of the field to National Geographic headquarters. The event is a “gathering of the tribe,” a time for scientists, conservationists and adventurers from diverse disciplines to share important discoveries and powerful stories. It’s a week for networking with other explorers, NG staff and supporters, and for fostering collaborations that have the potential to change the world.
